Fail.
For the past few months, life here in Nashville felt like it was going in slow motion. There wasn't anything truly exciting happening. Not enough to write a blog about anyways. No running into Kid Rock or three day camping trips. Just class. And more class.
I blame it on the bipolar weather.
But ever since I got back from spring break time has been flying by. I'm absolutely loving all the excitement that comes with trying to keep up with it.
Just to catch you up here are a few things that have happened:
-I drove to Opryland Hotel with a few good friend from the Blue Like Jazz movie to hear the director Steve Taylor talk about the movie editing process. We also had the opportunity to see the trailer and a few unedited scenes.

- At school I'm involved with an organization called Grammy U. Every once and a while the Grammy U students get to talk to industry insiders and go to artist sound checks. The most recent sound check I went to was G-love.
I was pretty excited, having seen him in concert a few times before.
-I'm also involved in an organization called Service Corps. We help out with tons of industry events around town. The Country Radio Seminar invited us to a free concert called Music City Jam. We got to stand front row at the concert, while the attendees ate dinner. Blake Shelton was the headliner but The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Laura Bell Bundy, Chris Young, Brett Eldredge, and Frankie Ballard also preformed.

- There have been a few small but awesome adventures exploring new areas of Nashville and surrounding cities. One to Downtown Franklin, the occasional "getting lost on Vandy's campus" and a trip to Centennial Park.

- Probably the biggest and most exciting news of all is that I fell in love with a church. I'm rebuilding a relationship with Jesus from the ground up. I'm discovering who I am in Him with the guidance of some amazing people.
There will probably be a blog about this later but for right now you should know that Tuesday nights at Kairos (Brentwood Baptist) are my favorite.
So there you have it. I'm loving my life in Nashvegas. It's my home away from home. And I pinky promise that I will write more often.
All my love,
Alex
